What to Expect

The Seven Homecomings practice, as shared by Lama Rod Owens in his book Love and Rage. offers refuge practices rooted in the Three Treasures: the Buddha (guides), the Dharma (wisdom texts), and the Sangha (community), and expanded to include the ancestors, the earth, silence and ourselves. Seeking “refuge” guides and protects us on our paths. We will experience each homecoming with meditation and breathwork, integrated with Qigong, the creation of a personal fold-up altar, and sharing. These practices create a safe haven that we can return to for grounding, strength and clarity. They are accessible and profoundly nourishing, and available to all.. Although they are personal, they also encourage a shift towards recognizing our interconnectedness. Recommended: Lama Rod’s books, Love and Rage, and The New Saints:: From Broken Hearts to Spiritual Warriors.
